In the eighties of the last century Gé and Jos were frequently at vintage fairs promoting the PV-club, in Ahoy Rotterdam among
others, but also in the Rijnhal Arnhem. There they met this particular car for sale, owned by two guys from Apeldoorn.
The Ute, as from that moment she was called, was restored by themselves, obviously, the car was definitely not taut and very "orange skin" sprayed. Still the decision to buy this car came up.
She then drove for a number of years, but quite a few bad spots appeared from under the paint, so she got her rest.
Meanwhile, with the help of our old restoration expert Harry, both door panels and sills replaced, with a part of the oak frame of the two doors renewed. Meanwhile, she's tight waiting for a new oak cargo floor and finally finishing with a new paint and color.
On our Open Day on May 29, 2011 Erik Moser came with two pictures of our Ute, before she was refurbished and became blue.
