In the year of purchase of the Volvo P130 Jos worked at the Volvo dealer Schotpoort in Eerbeek, he bought the car in order to
drive this later. At that time, for everyday transportation use of the Volvo 120, which was already known that restoration was

From 1978, after renewing the mudguards the 130 became operational as second car, but from somewhere in 1981 Jos used this car daily. There were some adjustments made such as mounting wide wheels with matching tires, a more powerful B20 engine is built in and equipped with an LPG installation, so you could still fill up for 0.25 cents per liter. Auxiliary spotlights and a sunvisor made it complete and so the road was ridden like a big black blowfly.
Until 1985, many kilometers were made home and abroad; from that time she waits for the restoration.
